Laundry Love benefits families in need.

Laundry Love comes to Seaside Saturday, May 14, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Seaside Laundromat, 1223 S. Roosevelt Dr., Seaside. The event helps families in Clatsop County by paying for two loads of laundry per family, no strings attached.

Come use Laundry Love, donate to it, or serve your neighbor by helping out.

Families with children are welcome. Refreshments and drinks provided, too. The Laundry Love initiative consists of regular opportunities to help people who are struggling financially by assisting them with doing their laundry. For those living below the poverty line, washing clothes presents both a logistical problem and a financial hardship. Laundry Love partners with local laundromats in cleaning the clothes of those living in shelters, motels, cars.
