Encore offers ballet classes for all ages.

Encore believes that everyone should have the opportunity to dance. They have partnered with the Encore Performing Arts Foundation to offer a free community ballet class. The class is taught by Trixie Leone, and focuses on a classical education in ballet for all abilities and backgrounds, including some instruction on muscles and parts of the body involved in dance. Leone’s experience includes a master of science degree in education, instruction, and curriculum along with more than 20 years of training in the classical Cecchetti Ballet method.

Sessions are eight weeks long, and are sponsored by businesses and members of our community.

Tuitiion is free; registration, $10, for ages 13 to adult. The next session takes place Sept. 10 to Oct. 29, Mondays from 7:15 to 8:15 p.m. at Encore’s Warrenton location.
