Oregon Sea Grant will host its annual State of the Coast conference at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center on Nov. 22 and Nov. 23.

The conference will feature presentations on science and policy affecting coastal Oregonians, university students’ art and science presentations and hands-on activities. Participants, including elected officials, will have the opportunity to learn about a range of topics, including tsunami evacuation tools in Seaside, the status of Oregon kelp forests, the reintroduction of sea otters and offshore wind and wave energy.
