County offers grants to social services providers

Local nonprofit human services organizations will have the opportunity to apply for grants as part of a $30,000 fund offered by the Clatsop County Board of Commissioners.

The focus areas are developmental disabilities, mental health, substance abuse prevention and treatment and serving the homeless.

Online applications must be submitted by Oct. 31 for a chance to receive a grant in the spring.
