Seaside’s Barett Blodgett (5) blocks Collin Smith, of Gladstone.

The Seaside High School boys basketball team went 1-2 in their three games at the Vince Dulcich Tournament last weekend.

The Seagulls lost 58-50 to Estacada on Dec. 26, defeated Toutle Lake on Dec. 27 and lost 42-39 to tournament champion Gladstone on Dec. 28.

The Seagulls have shown flashes of good play on both ends of the floor, but are awaiting the return of Austin Palmer. His return will give Seaside their go-to scorer and shore up much of the offense.

In the 51-23 victory win over Toutle Lake, Jake White and Barett Blodgett had strong scoring games.
