Police warned merchants to be aware after suspects attempted to pass 10 counterfeit $100 bills at businesses on Dec. 4.
Police said at least one of the suspects also shoplifted and passed counterfeit bills at the Fred Meyer in Warrenton.
The counterfeits will not pass through electronic validation devices, and most were printed off-center, according to police.
People with information about the suspects are encouraged to contact law enforcement.
