The Seaside Public Library will welcome author Zoë Bossiere on Dec. 7 for a talk on their book, “Cactus Country: A Boyhood Memoir.”

Held at 2 p.m. in the Community Room, Bossiere’s presentation will discuss their writing about emerging gender identity in childhood amid a backdrop of the Sonoran Desert.

A Q&A will be held afterward.
