Voters of Gearhart: Paulina Cockrum is worthy of your vote. Paulina has an incredible amount of knowledge packed inside her noggin.

The positive and peaceful Cockrum has donated countless hours of her personal time to ensure the preservation of the Gearhart community. Paulina’s many years of service stand as a fine example of giving to Gearhart.

Her service includes: 2020 to 2022, Gearhart mayor; 2015 to 2021, Gearhart City Council; 2008 to 2015, Gearhart Planning Commission; and 1993 to 1995, Gearhart Planning Commission.

Paulina also worked on the completion of the park’s master plan, the initiation and coordination of the children’s play area, and the coordination and completion of a modern human resources handbook for employees. She assisted in improving teamwork of employees with administration and department heads.

Paulina was instrumental in founding the Community Emergency Response Team for the city of Gearhart. Cockrum’s involvement in our wonderful town ranks high among those who have made a lifetime of service giving back to their community.
