I’ve known Kerry Smith for 20-plus years. We worked for a construction company together long ago. I know him to be courteous, honest, polite, reasonable, fair, well-read, intelligent, straightforward.

I can’t vote for him for Gearhart mayor, since I am a Seaside resident. But isn’t it refreshing to be able to vote for a local who is respected by so many? Kerry is a good man.
