The American Legion Post 99 will provide a flag disposal service on Nov. 10.

From noon to 3 p.m., volunteers will accept flags that are unserviceable, tattered, faded or worn and will dispose of them in accordance with United States Flag Code.

Flags can be brought to the American Legion parking lot across from Broadway Park & Field.

Additionally, the American Legion collects unserviceable flags year-round at its Legion Hall on Broadway. Those flags will be disposed of during this event.
