Buildings in Clatsop County will be lighted in green from Nov. 4 to Nov. 11 as part of Operation Green Light for Veterans.

The national initiative of the National Association of Counties supports military veterans and raises awareness about the unique challenges many face.

Residents, businesses and community partners are encouraged to participate by changing one or more of their building’s light bulbs to a green bulb from Nov. 4 to Nov. 11. People can share their participation on social media using the hashtag #OperationGreenLight.
