The city said the Necanicum River and Neawanna Creek have returned to normal following an electrical fire that caused about 314,000 gallons of partially-treated wastewater to be discharged in September.
The city, in collaboration with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality, issued an all-clear notice on Sept. 27. The city has previously disclosed that some of the discharge exceeded the regulatory limit for E. coli.
