I am writing in response to the article, “Recall against Dillard advances” in The Astorian’s front page on June 22. My heart is saddened to the state America has found herself in.

There is no longer a standard we use to measure right or wrong. Each person decides for himself. We call evil good and good evil. Isaiah 5:20.

God has set for us a standard which is just and true in the Bible and when a nation chooses to follow it, how happy the people are! 1 Kings 10:1-8.

Blessed, happy and prosperous are those who keep My ways. Pay attention to My instruction and be wise. Do not ignore it. For whoever finds Me, finds life. Proverbs 8:32-35.
