Miss Clatsop County Scholarship Pageant set for Feb. 24

Ten young women will be competing for three titles, Miss Clatsop County, Miss Clatsop County Teen and Miss North Coast Teen in the Miss Clatsop County Scholarship Pageant at the Seaside Civic and Convention Center, starting at 7 p.m. on Feb. 24. The doors open at 6:30 p.m.

General admission tickets are available at the door for $30. Tickets can also be purchased online in advance for $25 on the convention center’s website.

The three contestants for Miss Clatsop County are:

• Lilly Boothe, 20, attends Oregon State University. Her talent is roller skating, and her community service initiative is “No More Stolen Sisters.”

• Josie Morinville, 20, attends Clatsop Community College. Her talent is lyrical dance, and her community service initiative is “Achieving your Dreams, Overcoming your Disabilities.”

• Lizzi Rocha, 18, attends Warrenton High School. Her talent is vocal, and her community service initiative is “PLUS – Positive Look for Unique Sizes.”

The seven contestants for the teen titles are:

• Aliciyah Miguel-Cloninger, 17, attends St. Helens High School. Her talent is contemporary dance, and her community service initiative is “Let’s Talk About it: Advocating for Diabetic Needs.”

• Shaelyn Bangs, 14, attends Encore Academy. Her talent is tap dance, and her community service initiative is “Pediatric Mental Health.”

• Savannah Bigelow, 17, attends Warrenton High School. Her talent is HerStory, and her community service initiative is “Fish and Forest.”

• Lena Soprano, 14, attends Seaside High School. Her talent is jump rope, and her community service initiative is “Jump for Health.”

• Annabella Miguel-Cloninger, 13, attends St. Helens Middle School. Her talent is flute, and her community service initiative is “Childhood Illnesses.”

• Daisy McCalmon, 13, is home-schooled. Her talent is tap dance, and her community service initiative is “The Importance of Fire Safety.”

• Savana Pedraza, 17, attends Seaside High School. Her talent is a cheer routine, and her community service initiative is “Water Safety on the Coast.”
