Seaside students win awards in essay contest

Two Seaside students have won awards for the Americanism essay contest at the Seaside Elks Lodge.
Ella Crader, an eighth grader at Seaside Middle School, won the contest. She was awarded $75 and a certificate. Crader’s essay will also be forwarded to the Oregon State Elks North District essay contest for potential additional awards.
Liliana Rojas Mora, a fifth grader, won $75 and a certificate for receiving first place for fifth graders. Both students wrote their essays on the theme “What the Bill of Rights Means to Me.”
