The silence in this country regarding the genocide in Palestine is deafening. American taxpayer dollars are being used to fund and send weapons to Israel. As Congress is responsible for how American taxpayer dollars are used, everyone sitting in Congress is responsible for aiding and abetting this genocide.

Israel is bombing civilians. Israel is bombing Palestinian homes, hospitals and refugee camps. Israel has killed nearly 10,000 children and dozens of journalists. These are international war crimes. The only country fighting Israel on Palestine’s behalf is Yemen.

The U.S. is aiding, abetting, arming and funding genocide. Americans should be up in arms about this.

Empathizing with Palestinians being exterminated in Gaza does not make me antisemitic, nor pro-Hamas. It makes me human.

Where is the outcry from humanity against this? Where is the concern for thousands of children and civilian adults being killed, and countless more being traumatized?

I am horrified and sickened by what is going on: The deafening silence regarding this genocide and the people of the U.S. paying for it.
