Favorite high school memory?: “Winning 7-1 against Astoria at home in front of a big crowd. It was one of our best games as a team, and I scored a hat trick.”

Nickname or something your teammates call you: “I don’t really have one. Most people just call me Burch, for my last name.”

Favorite pro team: “Arsenal Football Club.”

Favorite vacation: “We went to England last summer to visit my dad’s family. It was pretty cool to sightsee in London and get a tour of Emirates Stadium where Arsenal plays. We also went to see an England national team game in Manchester at Old Trafford Stadium with 70,000 fans.”

What do you want to do after high school?: “Play soccer at the next level, either college or abroad.”

Favorite team road trip: “The Newport tournament during the summer before my junior year. Having fun on the bus trips to Walmart and playing a scrimmage in the dark one night, just for fun.”

Advice for younger teammates: “Enjoy it, don’t take this time for granted.”

Most influential coach or teacher: “All my Seaside High School coaches; Chappy, Coach Leo and Coach Arden.”
