Three firefighters and a police officer were sworn in during a Seaside City Council meeting on Sept. 25.

Jay Verburg, Britton Killian and Jackson Schermerhorn were sworn into Seaside Fire & Rescue by Fire Chief Joey Daniels.

Seaside Police Chief Dave Ham also swore in new officer, Derek Spivey, into the department at the meeting.
