Jean Elliott

Jean Elizabeth Elliott, a 60-year member of the Seaside community, passed away on Aug. 10 in Astoria.

She was born on Nov. 18, 1925, to Alexander Campbell and Grace Brown. Jean led a remarkable life filled with love, dedication and selflessness.

Born and raised in Washougal, Washington, Jean graduated from Washougal High School.

Jean’s professional path as a secretary to the Catholic Church made her an invaluable member. However, it was through her role as a homemaker that Jean truly thrived. She poured her heart and soul into creating a warm and loving home for her family.

Jean cherished her time spent with family and friends above all else. She shared several decades of unconditional love and companionship with her beloved husband, John H. Elliott, before his passing. She was also preceded in death by their son, Daniel Elliott.

Jean leaves behind a legacy of love that will be forever cherished by her children, Michael Elliott, of Arizona, Sandra Elliott, of Belfair, Washington, Beverly Elliott, of Astoria, Jack Elliott, of Tigard, and Joseph Elliott, Eleanor Elliott and Mary Ann Heath, of Bend; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

May Jean’s soul rest in eternal peace. She will be dearly missed, but forever remembered in our hearts.
