Local artist Dawning McGinnis will hold a sand raking workshop and fundraiser on July 23 and August 6. Both events will begin at 11 a.m. at the south vehicle beach access point in Gearhart.

The workshop is free, and McGinnis is gathering donations for the Seaside-based nonprofit Nourish Those in Need during the event.
