The Gearhart City Council voted unanimously on June 7 to adopt an $8.1 million city budget for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, which begins in July.

The budget decreased about 1% compared to this year’s budget, which was $8.2 million.

City councilors also unanimously approved the Gearhart Road District budget of about $280,000. The district’s budget increased from this year’s budget of approximately $227,000.
