The first of two Clatsop Clash softball games in three days took place May 9 at Broadway Field, where Astoria scored a 13-0 win over Seaside.

Astoria pitcher Maddie Wilkin tossed a five-inning, one-hit shutout, with eight strikeouts and one walk.

The Lady Fishermen pounded out 15 hits, which included three doubles and a triple. Shelby Bruney was 4-for-4 and teammate Nayomi Holmstedt added three hits.
