Seaside senior Kaylee Snyder was the individual medalist, while Scappoose won the team title in the Cowapa League girls golf championships, held on May 1 at the Astoria Golf & Country Club.

The teams will meet again for the regional state qualifier match at Quail Valley Golf Course.

The Indians shot a 398 team score in the five-team league meet, ahead of St. Helens (408), Seaside (410), Astoria (425) and Tillamook (439).

Individually, Snyder was the only golfer under 90, finishing with an 89 (42 on the front nine).

Eleven golfers were all-league, including Seaside’s Kenna White (104), and Astoria’s Madeline Williams (97) and Aspen Braaten (104). All four scoring Scappoose golfers were all-league.
