Seaside held a 6-1 lead over No. 1-ranked Scappoose through five innings on May 1 at Broadway Field. However, Scappoose rallied with seven runs in the sixth inning and two in the seventh for a 10-6 win over the Gulls.

Scappoose had 11 hits to Seaside’s seven, while the Gulls committed four errors in the field.

Tanner and Tallen Kraushaar each had two hits for Seaside, which drops to 2-4 in league. Scappoose improves to 7-0 and 15-2 overall.
