My name is Marc Gendelman. I want you to know why I think it is important to vote “yes” on Measure 4-221. I hold a leadership position in local healthcare and I am on the ballot this May for Clatsop Community College board of directors. I mention these details to illustrate that I have an interest and insight into the state of local workforce development needs.

We need housing for young adults in the community as they enter the workforce and seek households of their own, and we need housing for professionals relocating here to fill essential jobs in our community. Measure 4-221 will protect the housing we have in the community to help meet these needs.
