Ben Shanafelt and Brittany Bush shared information about the Seaside Aquarium at the street fair. 

The Seaside Aquarium was one of of a dozen nonprofits in Cannon Beach on April 22 for the city’s 12 Days of Earth Day Street Fair, presented by the city’s parks and community services committee. 

The goal of the event was to showcase the efforts of local nonprofits and community organizations to bring positive change to the community and reduce the region’s eco-footprint.

Along with the Seaside Aquarium, groups at the event included the Ecola Creek Awareness Program, Haystack Rock Awareness Program, North Coast Watershed Association, Cannon Beach Friends of the Trees, Wildlife Rescue Center of the North Coast, Sea Turtles Forever, the North Coast Land Conservancy, Cape Falcon Marine Reserve, Friends of Haystack Rock, SOLVE, Pacific Power and Aldervale Native Plants.
