After a late night road game at Astoria on Friday, the Tillamook girls basketball team did not have enough energy left at the end of a Saturday afternoon Cowapa League game against Seaside.

The Tillamook girls held a 33-27 lead with just three minutes left, but Seaside finished the game on a 10-2 run for a 37-35 victory over Tillamook.

Seaside senior Abby Nofield hit a key 3-pointer to end the third quarter, while freshman Carly Corder sparked Seaside with a game-high 14 points (nine in the fourth quarter), which included a 3-pointer to start Seaside’s late comeback.

Corder also had an offensive rebound basket to give the Gulls a 34-33 lead, and Seaside did the rest from the free-throw line, making 5-of-9 in final two minutes.
