Boys Basketball: Seaside 73, St. Helens 40

Caleb Langmo had six 3-pointers and finished with 26 points to lead the Gulls against St. Helens.

Three days after watching their 13-game win streak come to an end at Astoria, the Seaside boys basketball team made a quick return to the win column with a 73-40 victory over St. Helens, Feb. 7 at Seaside.

Caleb Langmo scored 26 points and Austin Palmer added 16 for the Gulls (8-1), who now own a two-game lead over both Astoria and Scappoose (6-3) in the Cowapa League standings.

Seaside has three league games remaining, with nonleague contests against Westside Christian and Banks.
