The Seaside Public Library presents live events throughout January.
On Saturday, Jan. 7 at 10 a.m., the teen book club meets in the community room to discuss “The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise” by Dan Gemeinhart.
On Jan. 14 at 2 p.m. in the community, the Friends of Seaside Library host a talk, Q&A and book signing with Carolyn Wood, author of “Class Notes: A Young Teacher’s Lessons from Classroom to Kennedy Compound.”
Teen Tuesday, for teens in grades 6 through 12, takes place Jan. 3 at 4 p.m., with the theme “Games Day.” On Jan. 10 at 4 p.m., “Book Scavenger Hunt”; Jan. 17 at 4 p.m., “Arts and Crafts”; Jan. 24 at 4 p.m., “Book Awards”; Jan. 31 at 4 p.m., “Karaoke.”
Storytime, for preschool age children, takes place in the library community room. Storytime on Jan. 5, at 10:30 a.m. will feature the theme “Alpacas.”
Storytime on Jan. 12, at 10:30 a.m. will feature the theme “Soup Day!” Jan. 19, at 10:30 a.m. will feature the theme “Pajama Day!” Storytime on Jan. 26, at 10:30 a.m. will feature the theme “Dinosaurs!”
