Cassandra Louise Hendricks, 78, formerly of Astoria and Seaside, passed away Dec. 10.

Cassandra, known as “Snooks” to family and close friends, was a spirited and boisterous woman. She was happiest among friends and family, a glass of white zinfandel in hand and sharing memories and stories. Most stories included escapades gone comically wrong.

Her beautifully expressive smile and infectious laugh were only two of her many lovely attributes. Her kind soul and genuine love for life resulted in a life full of travel, adventures, many friends and a lot of love. She will be dearly missed by those left behind, but remembered always in the hearts her life touched.

She is survived by her childhood sweetheart and husband of 30 years, Rick Hendricks; daughter, Jodi Olson and her husband, Mark; grandchildren, Naomi and Randall Olson; stepdaughters, Amy Hendricks and Sarah O’Dowd and her husband, Brennan; stepson, Ryan Hendricks, and his wife, Cheri; grandchildren Haiden, McKenna, Landon and Kendall; stepson, Kevin Hendricks; grandchildren, Cole and Reid; two sisters, Gayle Plummer, Terry Nesmith, and her husband, Jim; and nieces, nephews and friends.
