The Seaside Public Library presents live events throughout December.
Storytime, for preschool age children, takes place in the community room each Thursday at 10:30 a.m. On Dec. 1, the topic is “Cookies”; Dec. 8, “Stories from Around the World”; Dec. 15, “Five Senses”; Dec. 22, “Celebrations”; and Dec. 29, “Hibernation.”
Teen Tuesday, for teens in grades 6 through 12, takes place on Dec. 6 at 4 p.m. with a makerspace science lab, and on Dec. 13 at 4 p.m., make and eat holiday treats during the cookie decorating event.
On Dec. 10 at 10 a.m., the teen book club meets in the community room to discuss “The Inheritance Games” by Jennifer Lynn Barnes.
On Dec. 17, the Friends of the Seaside Library host guitarist Wes Wahrmund, performing jazz, classical and world music. The concert takes place in the community room at 2 p.m.
