Registration is open for the annual Turkey Trot 5K run and walk on Thanksgiving morning with the Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District.

Check-in begins at 8 a.m. at the south entrance of the Sunset Recreation Center at 1120 Broadway and follows a route through downtown Seaside. The race begins at 9 a.m.

A free Thanksgiving meal with dine-in and to-go options takes place at the Bob Chisholm Community Center from noon to 2 p.m. Registration is not required for this first-come, first-served meal.
