Park district opens infant and toddler program

- The Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District child care and toddler program opened Oct. 17.
The Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District opened their new infant and toddler care classrooms to nine children on Oct. 17.
The district received grants to refurbish classrooms at the Sunset Recreation Center and to purchase equipment and recruit youth program staff.
Grants from the county, state and nonprofits fund the program.
