A presentation, “Emerald Ash Borer: A Looming Threat,” takes place Oct. 12 at 5 p.m. at the Barbey Maritime Center, 2042 Marine Drive, Astoria. 

The presentation will cover how to identify the signs and symptoms of the emerald ash borer and the potential threat to our native Oregon ash. Presented by the Clatsop County Master Gardeners Association; free and open to the public.
