What is Betsy Johnson hiding? Why isn’t she releasing her tax returns, like every other credible candidate for public office? She claims she’s entitled to privacy, but if she’s going to lead our state, don’t we have the right to know about her potential conflicts of interest? We made that mistake once before, to allow someone to come to power without releasing their tax returns and coming clean about their financial interests. Let’s not do that again.

We already know Betsy is funded by big corporate interests; most of her donations come from a few rich donors, not small dollar support from the people.

Not going to release her tax returns? Not going to get my vote. Betsy has bragged she has these mega-donor CEOs on speed dial. Of course she does. Betsy is beholden to the rich and powerful, not you and me, the people of Oregon.
