County task forces return from state wildfires

- Task Force 28, which headed out from Seaside on Sept. 10. Clatsop County Task Force 38 returned Sunday from Estacada and Task Force 28 returned from the Double Creek Fire in Joseph on Monday.
Task Force 38 returned from the Mclver Fire in Estacada, and was made up of personnel and equipment from Knappa, Lewis and Clark, Gearhart Fire, Seaside, Cannon Beach Fire and Nehalem fire departments.
Task Force 28 joined the Double Creek Fire in Joseph on Sept. 3.
Matt Keefer went as the task force leader, Division Chief Genesee Dennis and seasonal firefighter Dillon Rhinevault helped staff other rigs in the county. Seaside deployed crews along with Knappa, Lewis and Clark, Warrenton, Gearhart and Astoria fire departments.
