7:20 a.m., Circle Creek: EMS call. A person is arrested and charged with driving while under the influence of intoxicants.
1:24 p.m., 2500 block S. Roosevelt: A deceased person is reported at an EMS call.
4:44 p.m., Safeway parking: Caller reports two people passed out and possibly in need of assistance; on contact subjects say don’t want assistance.

Oregon State Police
BB gun suspected
Troopers were advised June 30 at 6:13 p.m. by a caller who reported his windshield was damaged while driving on U.S. Highway 101 about four miles north of Seaside. He said he heard a loud boom and then there was a small hole in his windshield with several large circles around the hole. He believes his car was shot at by someone wielding a BB gun. He was provided with a case number and a report was made.
Speeding
While on patrol, troopers clocked a car going 104 mph June 30 at 6:50 p.m., while traveling on U.S. Highway 26 near milepost 13. They attempted to catch it but lost sight due to an active construction zone. The car was located a short time later and the driver appeared impaired. He was arrested for driving while intoxicated and reckless driving and transported to the county jail to take a chemical test. Daniel Ernest Charles Bean, 36, from Portland, was lodged on a probationary retainer. His GMC Suburban was towed by Gary’s Towing.
Nude man
A nude man was reported July 2 at 4:31 p.m., walking on U.S. Highway 101 near milepost 29. Medical personnel was called to the scene due to injuries sustained prior to police contact. The 24-year-old Vancouver man was transported to Seaside Providence Hospital for evaluation as he appeared to have some mental health issues. His dog was brought to the Clatsop Animal Shelter. His car, which he abandoned, was left at the water fountain near milepost 29.
License suspended, warrant
Steven Clark Price, 63, from Portland, was arrested July 4 at 8:33 p.m., while troopers on patrol saw him commit a moving violation. He was found to be driving with a suspension and there was an active warrant for him out of the Clatsop County Circuit Court for a misdemeanor. Price was transported to the county jail where he was lodged. A friend took possession of his car.
Gearhart Fire
Gearhart Fire had a total of 53 calls for June, 31 within the city, 19 in the district. The department received aid from the Oregon Department of Forestry for a grass fire, a trauma case with aid from Warrenton Fire, and a possible structure fire with aid from Seaside. Gearhart Fire sent aid to Seaside for coverage three times.
