Junior Naturalists Summer Camp

Wildlife Center of the North Coast offers their fourth year of Junior Naturalists Summer Camp, a weeklong, nature-based day camp for students entering first through eighth grades.
Throughout the week junior naturals will play, create, explore, and immerse themselves in the outdoors as they develop new skills and learn about the natural world.
The wildlife center is a working nonprofit wildlife rehabilitation and conservation education center just outside of Astoria. Campers will have an opportunity to visit the wildlife clinic and meet resident education ambassadors, as well as explore wetlands, forests, and other wildlife habitats on the property.
This summer, grade school camps will be led by fourth grade teacher, Veronica Miller.
New this year is a middle school session led by eighth grade teacher, Shelby Gagnon.
The camp will be held July 11 to July 15 for first and second graders; July 18 to July 22 for third, fourth and fifth graders, and Aug. 1 to Aug. 5 for middle schoolers.
