Can hope survive? A disturbing, low-tech crime spree on March 30 damaged six businesses or properties in downtown Seaside, including the Spay and Neuter Thrift Shop and Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church. While police believe they know who committed the crimes, the senseless vandalism and theft bring a sense of despair and urban violence. For parishioners at the church and supporters of the thrift shop, they have transformed their anger into understanding and rebuilding. “We are working together as a congregation to move forward and to practice forgiveness,” Pastor Sue Irvin told the Signal. Ballots are mailed

In Gearhart, yes and no signs dot lawns throughout the city.
