Gabriel Burton Walker, 34, of Seaside, was charged with counts of encouraging child sexual abuse and online sexual corruption of a child.

Seaside police were assisted in the investigation by an Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, composed of detectives from the Hillsboro Police Department, special agents from the FBI and the National Center for Exploited and Missing Children.

The investigation into Walker began when he engaged in conversation with an undercover task force member over the internet, where he then distributed child pornography videos and attempted to solicit a child under 10 years of age for the purpose of sexual conduct. Walker was arrested without incident and lodged at the Clatsop County Jail.
