- Steve Forrester, editor of ‘Eminent Oregonians: Three Who Matter,’ will be at the Seaside Library on Aug. 20.
The Seaside Public Library presents live and virtual events throughout January.
Live adult trivia will be held in the Community Room on Wednesday, Jan. 5, beginning at 6 p.m. This month’s theme will be “Famous Firsts.”
Virtual Storytime on Zoom takes place for children up to age 3.
Virtual Storytime will be held on Thursday, Jan. 6, at 10:30 a.m. The theme is “The Letter K.” Virtual Storytime on Thursday, Jan. 13, at 10:30 a.m. will feature the theme “Weather!” Virtual Storytime on Thursday, Jan. 20, at 10:30 a.m. will feature the theme “Houses and Homes.” Virtual Storytime on Thursday, Jan. 27, at 10:30 a.m. will feature the theme “Pajama Day!”
On Saturday, Jan. 15, the library will host Steve Forrester, president and CEO of EO Media Group and former editor/publisher of The Daily Astorian, and a former U.S. Senate page. In this event Forrester will discuss the recently released book “Eminent Oregonians: Three Who Matter,” of which he was a co-author. There will be time for a Q&A on the book after his presentation. This event will be held in the Community Room starting at 2 p.m.
