A nomination for a CEDR award said, “Please accept my letter to nominate Cotton Club and Rascals of Seaside for your Business Service to the Community award. Stephanie Stevenson and her crew are always willing to lend a hand in the Seaside community. Stephanie has dedicated many hours to the Seaside Downtown Development Association. She sits on the Beautification Committee and is the chairperson for the downtown flower baskets spearheading the annual fundraiser dinner collaborating with Dundee’s Bar & Grill.

“Another great Seaside event Stephanie has led was the Seaside Wine Walk. The Cotton Club staff has also given their time being a collection spot for donations for Thanksgiving baskets. They have assisted with the annual Seaside Golf Classic collecting donations and packaging raffle items. They also give back to our community during our Halloween Happenings event by opening their business for a children’s activity and trick or treating.”

Thanks to all this good work, Stephanie “Stevie Sue” Stevenson, owner of Cotton Club & Rascals, won the 2019 Business Service to the Community-Small Business Award.
