Clatsop County is known throughout the region for their tourist attractions.

The National Park Service reports several local sites are working together to offer free or reduced admissions or other special deals on Hometown Tourism Days on Saturday, Nov. 10, and Sunday, Nov. 11 (Veterans Day). Here is a list of the special activities available for this eighth annual Hometown Tourism Days.

• Cannon Beach History Center — 1387 S. Spruce St., Cannon Beach — Free admission; free Sleepy Monk Coffee, hot chocolate, tea and cider bar; 20 percent gift shop discount, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

• Seaside Museum and Historical Society — 570 Necanicum Drive, Seaside.

• Seaside Aquarium — 200 N. Prom, Seaside — Free admission with donation of two cans of food/per person, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

• Seaside Inverted Experience — 111 Broadway #7, Seaside; www.seasideinverted.com.

• Jewell Meadows Wildlife Area — 79878 Hwy 202, Jewell — Free wildlife viewing with valid Wildlife Area Parking Permit, all day, Saturday and Sunday.

• Lewis and Clark National Historical Park, Fort Clatsop, 92343 Fort Clatsop Road, Astoria.
