Sunset Rec offers spooky fun

The Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District will be hosting the annual fall fun fest carnival and first annual spooky swim on Saturday, Oct. 20 All ages are welcome to come, play carnival games and win prizes. There is an admission of $2 or 2 cans of food to participate in both events. All of the canned food donations will go to the South County Community Food Bank.

The carnival will be held at the Bob Chisholm Community Center from 3 to 6 p.m. and will include carnival games, pumpkin decorating, a cake walk, a costume contest at 5 p.m., a photo booth, snacks and more.

The spooky swim will be held at the Sunset Pool from 6 to 8 p.m. and will include water games, a treasure dive, prizes, snacks, and tons of spooky fun.
