The Seaside Convention Center expansion project is being completed on budget.

The Seaside school project is already almost 25 per cent over budget.

Is this $23 million+ underestimate because either the school planners are incompetent or they lied to us in order to get the tax measure passed?

I fear it is the latter. Either way, shame on them.
