Oregon State University will hold its 149th commencement on Saturday, June 16, beginning at 10:30 a.m. in Reser Stadium. OSU is one of the few large universities in the nation to hand out students’ actual diplomas during the commencement ceremony.

Local students graduating this June from Oregon State include Matthew G. Hovland, master of science, rangeland ecology and management from Arch Cape.

Sonny G. Davis, of Cannon Beach, earned his bachelor of science, business information systems.
