BEAVERTON — Two teams looking to snap long losing skids met on the field Wednesday at Valley Catholic.

And the Valiants managed to win for the first time in 13 games, with a 9-8 win over Seaside.

With eight straight losses, the Gulls hope to snap their losing skid Thursday at home vs. Tillamook.
