SEASIDE — Scappoose pitchers Logan Travis and J.C. Gross scattered five hits with 10 strikeouts and three walks, lifting the Indians to a 7-2 Cowapa League baseball win Monday over Seaside at Broadway Field.

It was the last visit to the North Coast as a member of the Cowapa League for the Indians, who move to the 5A level next season.

And it was a big win in the standings for Scappoose, which improves to 6-4, while Seaside drops to 4-6.

As the starting pitcher, Travis struck out eight and gave up four hits.

Offensively, the Indians collected 10 hits off two Seaside pitchers, including three hits by Breeler Mann.
