SEASIDE — Scappoose scored five runs in the top of the first on its way to a 10-0 win Friday over Seaside at Broadway Field in a Cowapa League softball game.

Seaside pitcher Jetta Ideue and the Indians’ Nicole Dougherty both struck out 10 batters with two walks, but the Gulls could manage only six hits, as they slipped to 8-7 overall.
