Clatsop County Commissioner Lianne Thompson has scheduled a meet-and-greet event for Tuesday.

The District 5 commissioner represents most of South County — including Cannon Beach, Arch Cape, Elsie, Hamlet, Jewell and portions of Seaside. She is running against Susana Gladwin, a Jewell farmer, for her seat in the May 15 election.

The event will take place at the Bob Chisholm Community Center in Seaside from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
